Paint the Beauty of Noosa – 5-Day Impressionist Workshop with Rod Moore
Join acclaimed artist Rod Moore for a five-day immersion into the luminous world of Impressionist painting — set against the breathtaking beaches, Noosa riverways, and golden light of Noosa. This hands-on workshop blends the magic of plein-air painting on location with focused studio sessions at the Moore Art Gallery in Cooroy, giving you the best of both worlds: direct inspiration from nature and the refinement of technique under expert guidance.
Over five unforgettable days, you’ll paint iconic Noosa scenes, from the gentle curve of Main Beach to the shimmering reflections of the Noosa River, capturing atmosphere, light, and movement in the expressive Impressionist style. Rod will demonstrate his approach step-by-step, helping you simplify complex scenes, mix clean, vibrant colour, and bring your paintings to life with confident brushwork and palette knife textures.
This workshop is ideal for artists looking to loosen up, find their own voice, and connect with the joy of painting outdoors. Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn or an experienced painter seeking to deepen your Impressionist expression, you’ll come away with fresh inspiration, practical techniques, and a renewed sense of creative confidence.
Spaces are strictly limited to ensure individual attention and a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. Don’t miss this opportunity to paint alongside Rod in one of Australia’s most stunning coastal regions and return home with paintings that truly capture the spirit of Noosa.
